There is some huge shows including U2 and One Direction announced to play this year at the newly opened SSE Arena which has just opened this month.
Previously know as Odyssey Arena which has now gone under a 3 million pound revamp with 9,000 new seats and 180 digital screens across the arena with high speed broadband following the 10 week revamp. Just opened last week the venue announced some huge gigs coming to the arena in the coming months including a home coming tour for U2 as they'll take to the stage in November and sold out boyband favorites One Direction . Plus just a few nights ago Florence and The Machine wowed audiences in one of the first big gigs to take place in SSE Arena.
Neil Walker, general manager, said: "The arena has been improved to the highest specification to ensure we deliver world class live entertainment, with digital and wifi capacity to help enhance our customers' enjoyment."
The new name, SSE Arena, Belfast is part of a major 10-year naming rights deal with energy provider SSE Airtricity.
