Lacey Turner Drama 'Our Girl' Could be A Series

Our Girl, Is about girl who finds herself drawn to recruitment for the army after her 18th birthday, after she feels she needs change, she needs to do something with her life, as her house is full which describes as a little Lego house bursting at the seams. her dad is on the sick and her boyfriend is playing away with her supposed best mate. When Molly Dawses signs up she leaves her old life and friends behind. During the proccess of the training Molly has no self belief she can do it, she sticks out like a sore thumb as she is seen as something of a class clown. She begins to find that confidence to fight in battle and meets people that actually respect.

The one off single drama which Lacey Turner plays the young girl Molly Dawses, it went down very well with viewers as they tuned into see the former Eastenders Actress at her best away from the Square. The programme managed to nab 5.34 million (21.7%). It was so good among viewers, getting them talking about on Social networking sites such as Twitter. Now the Writer of the programme has said the show may return because of sucess. He has been quoted saying It’s definitely something that I’d love to do,’ he said.‘It’s so fascinating. Each of those kids [joining the army] has got a story. ‘I guess the BBC will see what happens when it goes out. They’ll wait and see the reaction. And if people love it, I guess we get taken out for a Cup-a-Soup somewhere.’  But not everyone had a good word to say about it one twitter user wrote  ‘Our Girl was the most nakedly ideological piece of propaganda I’ve seen on telly for a long time. That’ll be the BBC’s left-wing bias.’
