This summer for the first time viewers in Republic of Ireland will be able to view the popular UK series of Big Brother which broadcasts on Channel 5 in the UK. Viewers in the past were able to see the show when it was previously broadcast on Channel 4 but haven't been able to see the show ever since the takeover by Channel 5. The show will air on TV3 Ireland when the series launches on Tuesday 12th of May across TV3 Group of channels which will see Big Brother and Bit on the side aired on TV3 and 3e. TV3 Group has struck a deal with Endermol Shine which produce Big Brother. The deal will see the show run on the channels until least January 2016.
Hosted by Emma Willis this years series will be a time bomb theme which will see a Mad Men-influenced 60s style decor for the new house as part of an upbeat,glamorous, thrilling and mischievous series. Emma will be hosting the live stage shows while Rylan Clark will host Big Brother's Bit on the side.
We aren't sure yet if viewers will able to vote in south of Ireland but we will bring you latest on that as we get it.
