BBC Three Fans Not Happy with Channel Moving Online

2/17/2016

It's only been Tuesday Night since BBC Three went off air from our TV screens and fans weren't happy that the channel was moving online.

In last few days the BBC has received huge criticism from viewers and fans of the channel moving online only. Their beloved BBC Three was up for the chop after plans were given the go ahead in November 2015 to make it an online-only channel and plans were first proposed back in 2014 for both BBC Three and Four to move online but plans were halted for a while and then was announced back in November 2015 that BBC Three will just move online with BBC Four been saved from the chop.

The move did spark controversy, however, prompting a Save BBC Three campaign that gathered more than 300,000 signatures, albeit in vain. BBC Three now moves into a crowded online marketplace, with giants such as Netflix and Amazon Prime already having established online audiences.

Also a lot of popular BBC Three shows including Family Guy have been bought over by ITV and will air on ITV 2 and repeats of Eastenders moving onto Sky Channel W Previously named Watch.
Also some comedy shows have moved to late nights on BBC One and BBC Two.

But we wanna hear your views on BBC Three moving Online? Will you still be tuning in?

BBC Three recently unveiled it's new look logo and presentation of the channel with three lines look instead of text in it's logo.
Do we like the new look BBC haven given to BBC Three?

BBC Three also aired some of the most popular TV series including introducing us to funny comedy shows Gavin and Stacy and one of our favorites Little Britain.. Have a look at this funny clip below
Some fans suggesting that BBC Four should have been the channel to move online and here is some of the fans tweeting to BBC Three and with #RIPBBCThree trending on Twitter in the last few days since it went online..

Why did #BBCThree have to move online? I'm missing my #Eastenders fix at 10 now

I've noticed it's not just me who is ignoring #BBCThree. I just looked at their Twitter figures. They've just lost most of their audience.

Urgh also, the large version of the #BBCThree logo has the BBC off to the left. It looks stupid. pic.twitter.com/deaVJELc8I

Alison King To Leave Corrie For Good?

One of the most popular Coronation Street characters is set to leave the street for good and she isn't just going on a short break according to latest reports.

Alison King plays feisty Carla Connor and is known as the tough businesswoman of the street and is to leave the street in the coming months with a huge exit storyline to come later in the year.
Recently speaking with Metro Alison King told them that she is to leave the show permanently

"Yeah – it’s not actually a break, I’m actually leaving.

Because they’re leaving the door open, I think people originally called it a break – and people are asking ‘when are you coming back?’ and I’m like ‘I’m not’. I’m looking forward to going back to doing different things and being versatile. I was meant to give myself four years at the most and I’ve done an amazing ten years but it’s knackering. I need to creatively be a few other people now and see my daughter a bit more."

It's a shock to fans of Corrie and to us as just last July she said in an interview that after her break ""
I'd definitely like to return". So we expect a massive storyline before she leaves and we expect that to be around May or June when she is expected to leave the show.

Loose Women's Coleen compares gay rights to Isis
Today on Loose Women Coleen discussed the recent Gay Cake row verdict in Northern Ireland in which she compared supporting gay rights to Isis in which Coleen caused a stir within the Gay community today with lots of people took to Twitter to ask for her to be "sacked" after her comments.

This morning a judge found Ashers Baking Company in Belfast guilty of discrimination, after the bakery refused an order to bake a cake which was in support of gay marriage.
She spoke in support of the bakery and said
"At the end of the day, if you went in there and two days later they said, 'We don't want to make your cakes because of our beliefs', you'd just never go back to that shop and you'd probably say to all your gay friends, 'Don't go there, they're anti-gay', and boycott it," she said.

"What about if somebody walked in and said I want a cake and I want the whole Islamic State on it and how I support it and how I support them killing our people. Because it's a business, do they have to make it? And if they turn around and say they're not making it, we'd all applaud it."

After that Jamelia added that she believes the bakery's "religious rights aren't being taken into account", but said that she completely supports "equal rights for everyone".

Since the debate a lot of angry viewers have taken to Twitter to ask ITV to get  Coleen Nolan "sacked" of the show or ask her to apologise for her comments.
So far their has been no comment from ITV on the matter and no comment from Coleen Nolan yet.

Being Human's Damian Molony Takes on Ripper Street

5/4/2013

Irish Actor Damian Molony who starred as Half glass empty  vampire Hal Yorke who shared a flat with a ghost and werewolf Alex and Tom in the series of Being Human which concluded  in March. Well the Actor won't be out of work anytime soon as he has been recently spotted on the set of 'Ripper Street' which was a sucessful crime thriller on the BBC Earlier this year. It has been recomissed for a second series and the irish actor has been chosen for a role on the show, but the details are pretty much tight lipped and the minute. Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn and Adam Rothenberg star in the Sunday night drama, which is set in London's Whitechapel just months after Jack the Ripper's reign of terror. This might suit Damian's acting style as Hal his character from Being Human , had flashbacks showing him his past, the dress sense and dialogue was very period drama as the character lived for a long time.
