The Voice UK Returns to Screens tonight, and Will, Jessie, Tom and Danny are eager to find someone to get on their 'Team', Last years winner was Leanne Mitchell but where did she go, her debut flopped, what happened? Well the Voice have explained this it does look like they are taking a different direction to other talent shows 'they mentioned Tyler James in a recent interview, have you ever heard his music, being a superstar away from the show takes time, the judges said just because you have a number one hit and your 'famous, does not mean you are famous. and Will mentioned the show is called the voice not the pop person, the famous person, the shows that can produce famous people but that does not mean they are talented, But what the judges are trying to say is this is show is trying to allow staying power, not success they have to figure that out for themselves, the voice is sort of an exposure for them to shine, and then they take it from their, without a Simon Cowell holding their hand all the way.
Anyway tonight is beginning of Series 2 and as they usually begin it all they will all perform together performing a cover of Little Richard's 'Long Tall Sally'. Are we going to see a new side to the judges tonight instead of watching them spin around in swivel chairs like a couple of teenagers in a classroom, as Jessie recently admitted she has been more strict. Will it be more focused on the contestants this time round, well a former performer who was a 90's pop star Kavana, is among the contestants this year, he once beat Peter Andre and Gary Barlow to a Smash Hits 'Best Singer' trophy, but is fair? among the normal contestants. The Singer may have tried to break America in the 90's with Take that's Manager but should will.i.am, Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones give him a second chance? Another singer to look out for tonight is Ash Morgan from Wales, who hopes that the blind audition process will offer him a chance to be judged on his voice alone and not his image. And Andrea Begley, who has suffered from glaucoma, brings a new twist to the series. She said "It's the biggest challenge I've ever put myself through," says Begley. "I hope the blind audition will put me on a level playing field." So What are we to look foward to this year on the Voice, how will compare to last year, will it bring in the viewers since its up against Ant and Dec? Lets wait and See....
Here is the trailer for series 2
We wonder what tonight has in store for us?
