Hi It's New Music NI and this week we feature Derry born Soak, Bridie Monds-Watson, is on a steady rise to fame which saw her feature on BBC Radio 1 as their ‘track of the day’ a few weeks ago and make it onto their playlist with the track Sea Creatures.
Still just 18 years old, Soak has been performing in her hometown of Derry since the age of 14.
In 2014 she signed to CHVRCHES’ label with ‘Blud’ as her first release and has since toured with the likes of George Ezra.
Soak is currently being championed through BBC introducing and features on the BBC Sound of 2015 which showcases the most exciting musical talent for the year ahead.
