
Amelia has confirmed that her first studio album due for release this month is delayed and she is currently still working on the album. The album "Be a Fighter" Was due to be released in July but has been delayed and lots of speculation this week spread wildfire that Amelia was dropped from her record label as pre orders were cancelled..
Amelia earlier this year was supporting Girls Aloud on tour and her tracks "You Bring Me Joy" and "Shut Up" (And Give Me What You Got) had previously reached number 11 in the charts. But back in April Amelia released her latest single "Party Over" which peaked at number 40 in the UK back in April.
Amelia has tweeted a statement to fans:
"guys i wanted to let you know what's happening...over the last few months I’ve been writing loads of new material and I’ve now decided that I need to go back into the studio and spend some more time working on my debut album, I want it to be perfect for you all! I will update you all on my progress, stay tuned. I’m excited!!!!!!!!!"
