Disastrous launch viewing figures for Channel 5 but good figures for Ireland
It was not a good start for Big Brother's Timebomb launch night last night as the series only had 1.83 million tuning into the first show which made it the worst rating ever for a Big Brother launch show. We think it could've been due to football on ITV or housemates been revealed 13 days before the show went to air. So with all the twists and turns of the Timebomb twist it still didn't pull the highest amount of viewers for launch night on Channel 5.
In Ireland the show was also broadcast on TV3 for the first time and ratings averaged 563,000 viewers in Ireland across TV3 TV3 +1 and 3e.
